FINAL WALK OF THE 2024 GROWING SEASON

September 14, 2024 – 10am to 11:30am

On Saturday, September 14, from 10:00-11:30 am, veteran Master Gardeners Jan Bartron, Bob Cain, Laurel Moulton and I will lead the final walk of the season. Join us at the Fifth Street Community Garden in Port Angeles to examine what is happening (or should be happening) in local vegetable gardens.

At September’s final 2024 walk topics will include but not limited to late summer/fall tomato care and multiple aspects of saving seeds.

Come see the 50 plus garden plots of layouts, vertical structures, and successes. They are filled with September’s Second Saturday Garden Walk occurs rain or shine and is free and open to the public.

Interns and veteran Master Gardeners are welcome! All Master Gardeners can earn continuing education by attending the walk. The Fifth Street Community Garden is located at 328 E. Fifth Street in Port Angeles just off Peabody, right across from City Hall.

Attendees are encouraged to check the Clallam County Master Gardener online calendar for updates at https://extension.wsu.edu/clallam/master-gardener-calendar/ or call 360-565-2679.
